This winter, The Greenhouse Theatre Center will produce a production of Mark Saltzman’s play Clutter: The True Story of the Collyer Brothers Who Never Threw Anything Out. This will be the midwest premier of this show, a play about brothers Langly and Home Collyer, a famous pair of New York hoarders who live on Fifth Avenue in the 1920s. Mark Saltzman teamed up with Tony Award winner Tommy Tune to create a new musical telling the story of the legendary Studio 54 entitled 54 Forever. The show is a valentine to the Studio 54 nightclub where Mr. Tune himself often mixed with Andy Warhol, Liza Minnelli and other chic demigods of the 1970s. 54 Forever played the Univeristy of Miami’s Jerry Herman Ring Theatre and featured a cast of all students. The Tin Pan Alley Rag made its New York debut at the Roundabout Theatre Company's Laura Pels Theatre in June of 2009. The production was directed by Stafford Arima with choreography by Liza Gennaro.
